Melissa R. Myers, CNP earned her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN), specializing in Adults and Gerontology, graduating with honors, from The University of Akron. She has more than 700 hours of clinical experience in internal medicine, geriatrics, and infectious disease. Myers has served as an Intensive Care and Medical Surgical Nurse at Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Additionally, she was a member of the Rapid Response Team and a Nurse Instructor for the Joint Academy at the facility. She is member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society; the Ohio Association of Advance Practice Nurses; and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She holds certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support from the American Heart Association.
