COMMUNICATION

We utilize pre-visit phone calls, appointment reminder calls, in-office signs and email messaging to help provide detailed information about your visit while limiting interpersonal interaction

SCREENING

All Unity Health Network physicians and staff, patients and visitors are assessed for any current or recent fever, cough, shortness of breath or other flu-like symptoms before admission to our offices. Please refer to the STOP signs regarding symptom screening and scheduled patient arrival.

DISTANCING

All offices have new “stop” signs on entrances with COVID-19 alerts. Remote “waiting” rooms allow patients to stay in personal vehicles until it is time for their appointment. Limited waiting room capacity and installed 6-foot floor markers are in place to ensure proper social distancing. Patients may also call their provider to schedule televists instead of coming into the office should they wish to seek care remotely from home or if unable to come to the office

MASKS AND PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

Masks and any additional appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) are required for all physicians and staff in patient-facing situations. Patients are asked to wear masks when coming for their appointment. Please refer to this guide on how to safely wear and use a mask.

CLEAN ENVIRONMENT

Purell stations and sterilized wipes are available at all check-in and check-out locations and in exam rooms and public areas. Surfaces such as exam tables, counters, chairs, door handles and restroom facilities are regularly cleaned throughout the day. All exam rooms, offices and restrooms are deep cleaned daily
